Insurance became a deeply personal mission for me after I lost a coworker at the age of twenty-three. She left behind two young children, one of whom has special needs.  Her mother suddenly found herself responsible for caring for her grandchildren without any life insurance. Despite the community’s efforts to raise funds to support her family, they could only gather $750 over four weeks. This heartbreaking experience made it clear to me that education about insurance is crucial. No one should have to face such challenges without the necessary protections in place.

In my 20+ years of experience, I’ve encountered countless individuals—50-60%—who do not have personal insurance outside of what is offered through their employers. This includes even top CEOs, who often struggle to define essential terms like deductible, co-insurance, and out-of-pocket costs. Many do not fully grasp the importance of having a beneficiary or consider how a lack of personal coverage could impact their loved ones.

While these individuals are often dedicated providers, they may overlook the potential consequences for their families if they are no longer around. My mission is to educate and empower you with the knowledge necessary to make informed decisions, ensuring that your loved ones are protected no matter what life may bring.
